OSHA Compliance Training - Articulate Rise Course

This Articulate Rise module covers "Avoiding Bare-Hand Contact" - one section of a larger OSHA compliance course on Personal Hygiene and Safe Food Handling, created as a team project. The sample shown here represents the components I designed and built individually.

The Idea Behind It

Compliance training has a reputation for being click-through content that learners forget the moment they close the tab. This module was designed to push against that using a mix of visuals, interactivity, and embedded video to keep learners engaged with content that genuinely matters for workplace safety. The modular structure of the larger course also reflects a practical design decision: when regulations change, individual modules can be updated without rebuilding the entire course.

Highlights

  • Multimodal content design - images, interactive elements, and an embedded video used across lessons to vary engagement.

  • Knowledge check at the end to reinforce key compliance behaviours, not just information recall.

  • Built as a standalone module within a larger course architecture, demonstrating modular design thinking.
